Handbags. One of my favorite indulgences in life.
I now realize I have always had a love affair with handbags, even when I was a young girl. I love switching them out, matching them to my mood, playing with a pop of color and swooning over a classic timeless style.
I have reviewed almost every brand and designer out there (if you have one I need to review, please leave a comment and let me know! 
) and my top three handbag designers are: Louis Vuitton, Balenciaga, and Belen Echandia. I have never carried a leather LV so cannot compare their leathers. However, Balenciaga and Belen Echandia leathers are by far the most luxurious, hard wearing and gorgeous leathers I have found.

I am going to start sharing more of my favorite bags, handbags, beach bags, and any other bag with you through video walk throughs. It is important to me that you know I will always disclose if I was given a handbag or bag to review; the majority of the time they are not; I am sharing them because I love them and sharing them with you.
You know I am a long time fan of Belen Echandia handbags. I started with this…mild addiction in 2008. My first ever BE bag was a Take Me Everywhere Midi in petrol leather. I sold it after some time to help fund another and I regretted it so badly. The petrol leather from 2008 and 2009 was stunning and the most perfect tone. Thus, why I am giddy to say I found a Make Me Smile Midi on Bonanza in this amazing most favorite blue leather of all time leather last month.
She is mine and not going anywhere. (Sorry, I digress…)
Today I want to share my Belen Echandia Cannes Midi handbag with you.
My Cannes Midi is in a lovely chocolate matte leather with brass hardware and a stunning fuchsia lining. I have had this bag for a few months and it is starting to develop this beautiful patina in little pockets of the leather…absolutely gorgeous! As is the case with all BE leathers, they just get better over time.
Soft. Buttery. Smooshy. Where they form to your body. That good.
The size of the Cannes Midi is a true medium sized handbag and closely compares to BE’s Take Me Everywhere Midi and the Make Me Smile Midi. It is also comparable to my Louis Vuitton Rivington GM. In my opinion, this makes for the perfect daily use bag that is small enough to transition to taking out at night.
Take a look at my video review and walk around to see how the Cannes Midi wears and how easy it is to use. It is very important to me that my shoulder bags go on and off with ease; the Cannes Midi is super comfortable and I can access everything inside the bag without removing it from my shoulder.
The interior pockets are functional and help me stay organized, but my fave pockets are the side exterior ones – my DROID DNA goes in one and my keys in the other.
