Can you believe January is already over? This time of the year can be the hardest for families as we come down off the high of the holidays and all of that amazing family time together while the kids are off of school and parents get time off work. Suddenly with months to go until spring break and prolonged winter weather, families look for exciting things they can do together on weekends.
We love our weekends and our time together as a family. Some weekends it means spending time with friends and others it means hunkering down with just the four of us. I am so thankful that we don’t ever have to “work” to get our family together. Mr. C, Lil A and my husband and I are a tight bunch and we can always tell when we just need “us time”.
When we need to recharge our family batteries, we love going to the beach, out to dinner where there is no prep or clean up to distract us, and we love exploring new things to do. I think for all of us, we all love time when we can deviate from the normal routine of the week.
As we explore and learn more about Orange County, California, we are really excited to take in our first event at the Honda Center in Anaheim…a Harlem Globetrotters game! My husband went to one as a child and has wonderful memories of the entire experience. I have never been to a Harlem Globetrotters game so am excited to experience this “first” with C and A as well!
